“Recordari” is a personal photographic project that draws the voice of memory, which recalls something in the presenta of the heart and affection that is no longer here or no longer in this precise moment.
This memory returns to us, revived as a concrete emotion, direct experience, and not as a hallucination or dream.
In fact the word recordo , of Latin origin [re-back, cor/cordis – heart], is an entity recalled in the present, which burns and is brought back to the heart, considered the seat of memory.
Francesco Giacomi is born and raised in Italy. He went to school for architecture in Milan first and then for visual design in Lisbon. During this years he learned most of the things, especially from the stories of people that surrounded him.
