My name is Angela Berruezo and I’m a filmmaker and photographer based in Barcelona. My art is connected to all the knowledge of cinema, picture, sculpture…that my parents have given to me. For that reason, we can find clear pictorial and audiovisual references in all my work. Exploring photography through shadows and light to create volumes and bodies. Mirrors and reflections to express a term I’m obsessed with: the duality we find in the whole universe. Nature observation, the truth behind a face, our experience, and expressions of day-to-day moments become richer and endlessly varied-beyond what we think. Art and culture is our way of realizing and expressing feelings of human beings.
